I Am There

and there is no sight of me,
do not fear.
For my love for you will shine,
right through that darkest time,
and I will be there.
Hold onto the love I give,
and through that time you'll live,
until I am finally near.
Then the darkness will pass away,

I had this thing -
I'll call it fear.
I did not know its origin,
but it was always near.
It kept me from accomplishing things
I might like to do -
It kept me paralyzed, it kept me muzzled too.
It kept me from being assertive and
I could not reach for the sky.
It kept me from being free
so I really did not try.
Until one day I met Jesus
and His word revealed to me --
He did not give me a spirit of fear,
but a spirit to overcome all adversity.
So I replaced my fear with FAITH
and now I do believe;
It's my faith in Jesus which keeps me free!
Abraham

One tiny grain of sand
Put many together, O so grand
Makes a beautiful sunny beach
O God's hand it doth reach
Abraham, just one man
But God promised to make a clan
Father of many nations
Sarah, a mother, what elation
Father of us all
For he obeyed God's call
Abraham chosen
Yes through Jacob, a dozen
Yes those twelve tribes
Came from Abraham's insides
God made a covenant with him
Circumcism, the blood, that bought them
Now Isaac he begot
Sacrifice was his lot
But God supplied the lamb
Yes, he replaced Isaac with a ram
But God's own Son
Was the Only One
That fit the bill
Upon that hill
God didn't leave Jesus in that tomb
Now Jesus is our Groom
The Church as the Bride
Come Lord Jesus, for us You died
Genesis 22:2 Then He said, "Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

Why has God forsaken me
Why doesn't he care

Why doesn't God answer
All of my prayers
Sometimes I scream
Sometimes I moan
Just one more miracle
Just one more time
Sometimes I wish
Sometimes I hope
God will listen to me
God will prevail
But most times I realize
Most times I know
God is not finished with me
God's just begun
