He is Greater
by Ruby Wotherspoon
He is greater than the sum of His creation,
His being fills the vast expanse of space.
His power is beyond imagination;
Within His knowledge all truth finds a place.
The beauty of His holiness is awesome,
So pure, so spotless, Holy is His Name.
Before time was to when it is forgotten
His perfectness forever is the same.
He is complete and needs no man or angel,
But yet created both His joy to share.
When man rebelled He came from realms celestial
To be like man the price of sin to bear.
His justice, love and mercy met at Calvary,
His power left behind an empty tomb.
His righteousness to offer to man freely,
And peace and joy for desperate doom.
O Lord, You are beyond man's comprehension,
We praise You with the Seraphim above.
We bow our hearts to You in sweet submission
With all our adoration and our love.
If You Can
by Carolyn Herrmann
If you know what you are able to accomplish,
Yet realize the things you cannot do...
If you can find a goal that you believe in
And understand what God expects of you.
If you can use your talents wisely,
Remaining calm when everything goes wrong...
And seek your goal with persevering courage,
Relying on your faith to keep you strong...
If you can see the beauty that surrounds you,
And wonder at the wisdom of Gods love...
If you can be a child for just a moment,
while gazing at the stars that shine above...
If you can be aware of human weakness,
yet criticize the thoughtlessness you've shown...
And when your heart is breaking keep believing,
That other hearts are sadder then your own...
If you can disregard the faults of others,
and love them for the good that they have done...
If you can overlook your needs and troubles,
and always try to help the other one...
If you can light the way by your example,
and offer understanding sympathy...
Then you will have the joy that comes from knowing,
you're the person God intended you to be.
Never Too Late
by Yvonne Bailey
It's never too late to reach for the sky
It's never too late to believe I can try.
As long as God gives me another day,
that is my reason to try as I may.
I won't be discouraged by what I see,
because I know that inside me is all I'll ever need.
God placed something special in each one of us he made,
so we can be a blessing and glorify HIM in our own way!
Prayer Of A Teenage Runaway
by Joni Larson
When I am down,
When I am blue,
When I am tired,
Lord, where are you?
My heart does ache,
And I'm in pain,
When all I see,
Is Satan's reign.
Out on the street,
I'm all alone,
Without a house,
To call my own.
Do you hear me?
Are you there?
Can I believe,
You really care?
When tears are all,
I have to give,
Oh my dear Lord,
Please help me live.
I am afraid,
To face each day,
I need your light,
To guide the way.
Lord, I am down,
On bended knee,
I'm begging you,
Take care of me.
