What Are Pregnancy Care Centers
Pregnancy Centers are local, nonprofit organizations that provide care and support to
women and men faced with difficult pregnancy decisions or unplanned pregnancy and provides
them with the resources they need. They will go through all of your options with you and
explain them.
Different centers offer basically the same services. Some are able to offer much more than
others but the ones who can’t offer those services will be able to tell you how you can get
any service you may need at this important time.
Whatever decision you make, these centers do not make money on it. They are just there to
help you in whatever ways they can.
There are certain things to be considered before you decide on abortion. These centers can
go through them with you to aid in your choice.
Do you know for sure you’re pregnant?
Do you know how far along you are?
Do you know if it is an ectopic pregnancy?
Could you have had a miscarriage?
Other conditions can mimic pregnancy symptoms.

Using These Pages
Each state has it’s page. The links are on the right. Within the page centers are divided by
city or area. On some states there will be a “Multiple Locations” section at the top. These are
centers that have locations across the state or that have centers in other states also. If there
are centers with locations in a small area they will be placed in each city they are located in.
There is currently no generic name for these centers. I am hoping that will change. They are most
commonly called Pregnancy Care Centers (PCC), Pregnancy Resource Centers (PRC) or Women’s Centers.
There are other less used names. Sometimes for space sake I have to use PCC or PRC.
