I would ask any parent considering or being pressured to allow their child to
undergo gender transition to first know what the event of puberty is. If you can’t
remember what it was like to go through it, refresh your memory with facts.
Puberty is NOT just the development of sexuality. During this period kids go through
almost total transition bodily, mentally and critically important brain development.
Put on puberty blockers a child’s total development stops. And when they tell you that
stopping the drug will allow them to go back to normal, it is totally bald face lie.
Much of the damage is permanent, lifelong. And this is only a tiny part of the lies
through this process.
Be assured that being a tomboy or playing house with sister is totally normal and has
been happening since man first walked the earth. That’s what childhood is, exploring and
learning about everything they see.
Studies show that there is NOT an increased risk of suicide in these kids before being
put on the conveyor belt that sooner or later leads to surgical intervention. The suicide
rate increases exponentially afterward.
Teach your children at an early age about the beauty of who they are. And make sure that the
confusion and fear that they feel with puberty is totally normal and will subside when their
hormones settle. After puberty they will realize that the process was turning them into the
beautiful adult they were meant to be. But this indoctrination that others are pushing during this
period will only reinforce the fear that something is wrong with them.
And please always let them know they can come to you with any questions.

therapist who won’t impose their views on your experience. Many GETA therapists are
experienced working with detransitioners and are willing to offer a sliding scale fee.

No child is born in the wrong body, yet children of all ages are being deceived
daily by teachers, doctors, therapists, and sadly, sometimes even their parents.
A boy who likes to “put on a dress like Mommy” is told that he might be a girl
trapped inside a boy’s body. A girl who likes playing with toy trucks is told that
she might have a “boy brain” and that her body is wrong and needs to be “fixed.”
When children and adolescents feel uncomfortable with the way their bodies are developing
or feel that they do not fit in with their same-sex peers, this false idea they've heard
offers a convenient explanation for something that is much more complex. Led to believe
that their discomfort means they were born in the wrong body, they are further misled that
medical intervention is the only way to treat their discomfort.
Today such children rarely receive adequate mental health support to address their feelings
of confusion and discomfort. Instead, they are given puberty blockers and wrong-sex hormones,
double mastectomies and genital surgeries, resulting in the removal of their reproductive
organs, all before they're old enough to legally get a tattoo, join the military or drink
alcohol. These medical experiments cause irreversible damage to their bodies and make them
lifelong medical patients.
This is the standard of care in the U.S. and many other countries.
